Neal Genge is a Real Estate salesperson licensed in Hawaii. He is excited to be working for the very first United Country Real estate office in the Hawaiian Islands. Working under his wife, Teena as the Principle Broker for Hawaii Lifestyle Properties, this Husband/Wife team is always striving to meet the clients needs.
Originally from Wisconsin, he has made his dream of living and experiencing the Hawaii lifestyle come true. Neal and Teena have now settled on a 11 acre orchard and ranch in the small town of Naalehu, HI located at the beautiful Southpoint area in the Kau District. As an electrical engineer for over 30 years in southern Oregon, Neal has also been intrigued by land development and construction. Over the years, he has designed and built 2 homes starting with undeveloped land. He did all design and construction, including heavy equipment operation, plumbing, electrical, structural, etc. Owning a large tract of forestland in southern Oregon, he also operated a small sawmill operation where he custom cut Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Incense Cedar and other species. Being able to dry and machine lumber products, he marketed tongue and groove products along with specialty items customers could not find in big box stores.
By 2015, his desire to get to Hawaii led him to learning and researching everything about Hawaii - particularly Hawaii Island. Starting off small, he decided to develop rough land in Hawaii. He "got his feet wet" by developing several properties while still in Oregon before finally making the move to the Island.
Neal's knowledge of Hawaii Island gives him a unique perspective to help clients find the right property - in the right location. Neal is a licensed drone operator and he will promote your listing with beautiful aerial images along with 360° virtual tours. Neals problem solving ability and negotiating skills ensures buyers and sellers both win. His technical and hands on knowledge gives him an upper hand in understanding what is really considered "good bones" in the real estate world. He can see a house and see potential... or see the issues that make it a money pit versus a good investment. He's all about hard work and you'll see it in every step of the home buying or selling process.
